To celebrate the US Open at their fifth avenue flagship store, Asics asked us to concept an interactive experience and refresh all two levels of their retail space. On the main level, we created a mini racquetball game, with a wall that tallied hits for close-range target practice. A leaderboard displayed the top twenty scores.
On the store’s lower level, we vinyl-wrapped all walls and showcased signed shoes from various athletes. We made the window displays facing 47th street and 5th avenue using lit panels, fencing materials, mesh graphics and tennis racquets. Throughout, we used over 8,000 tennis balls.
